Our Founder/Director

Luke Dougherty is the founder and director of LMD Property. He is a third generation, licensed real estate agent and has been involved with property from a very young age.

Luke grew up in Northern New South Wales and obtained his Real Estate License in 2008 before becoming a Registered Property Valuer in 2011. He has spent the past 15 years working in the property industry on the Gold Coast with thousands of property inspections under his belt. During this time, he has gained exceptional insight into the local markets and how to get the best out of property.

Luke has worked in multiple sectors of the real estate industry as a selling agent, property valuer and buyer’s agent and has previously worked with three of Australia’s largest and most respected property companies (Herron Todd White, CBRE and L J Hooker). Throughout his years of experience, he has learnt how sellers and selling agents operate and what tactics they use to obtain the highest selling price.

Luke created LMD Property in 2021 as he had realised what a serious lack of representation that buyers faced through one of the biggest and most stressful financial decisions of their lives, buying property.

Throughout his tenure in the property industry, Luke has forged great industry connections with local real estate agents, solicitors/conveyancers, mortgage brokers, town planners, developers and property professionals alike. These relationships allow him and the team at LMD Property to help buyers like yourself gain exposure to a wide variety of properties before (and if) they hit the public market.
